Australian Beer Company

A joint venture between Casella Wines and Coca-Cola Amatil, based on Casella's brewing operations. When SABMiller bought Foster's Group in 2011 it triggered a clause in CCA's brewing joint venture with SABMiller, which produced Bluetongue beers, forcing the sale of the CCA share to SABMiller. A restraint on CCA selling, distributing or manufacturing beer or cider until December 16, 2013, when the Australian Beer Company joint venture began.
